Oliver Paul
A lifelong gamer who works in the video game industry as a community and influencer manager; first in Berlin, and now in London. I love all kinds of games, including board games, roleplaying games, tabletop war games and video games on multiple platforms. If I’m not painting my Warhammer 40K, I’m designing my next Dungeons and Dragons campaign, trying out the latest indie gem or trying to reach Platinum (okay, Gold) in League of Legends.
Video Games
I bounce between indie games like Dead Cells and Pyre, to having an open world AAA game on the go for months like Assassin’s Creed or Horizon: Zero Dawn. I follow the games industry avidly and want to push to make video games as progressive and inclusive as possible.
Roleplaying Games
Being a GM is one of the most satisfying things I do. Spending time crafting a world and experience for your friends and their characters, and then improvising with them for hours about what happens next. I write about these games and the different systems I play. I’m currently DMing Curse of Strahd for a work group.
Warhammer 40K
When I need to get offline, I really enjoy painting Warhammer minatures on the weekend and then playing every 2 weeks. I collect Orks, Death Guard and now Eldar (Craftworld Ulthwe). I do have some Space marines and Grey Knights floating around too.
